The dates for October 2019 would be the weekend of 19th and 20th commencing at 0000hrs local time on Saturday and concluding 48 hours later at 2400hrs Sunday local time = NZST. Each station can choose its own operating hours so these times can be adjusted according to the interest shown by local Scouting and Guiding groups.

The Dunedin Branch of New Zealand Amateur Radio Transmitters have committed to running this event locally and would like to welcome groups to come and visit our clubrooms and view our ‘radio shack’ prior to this event. To gain a better understanding of how radio communications work and what is expected to happen on the day. You will also learn of the significant contribution that Otago made to the history of radio communications worldwide. We are offering 2 opportunities for this to groups – Monday 14th October 2019 or Friday 18th October 2019 from 7 pm.
