In conjunction with a Unit Camp, the Canning Sea Scouts will be welcoming members of the Wireless Hill Amateur Radio club to facilitate a JOTA Radio communications session. During the event we will hopefully be able to comunicate with other JOTA participants both in Australia and in other part of the world.
Other groups are welcome to attend to have a go during the Saturday afternoon. It is likely the radio portion of the activities would take around an hour for each group. SUggested additional activities for visiting groups include a walk either around the river towards Clontarf College or in the other direction up to Low Quay and into the Canning River regional park
Other JOTA / JOTI activities will also potentially be taking place, particularly in the later part of the afternoon, Location – 19 Centenary Avenue, Wilson hall.
