Description:
This year marks a very special milestone for the St George Amateur Radio Society (SGARS) — we’re celebrating 30 years of setting up and running a Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) radio station at the Endeavour Boree Regatta! We’re expecting around 500 Girl Guides and Scouts to take part in this year’s JOTA activities, which could make VK2LE one of the largest JOTA radio stations in Australia!
Our team will be on air and looking to make contact with other JOTA stations over the weekend — Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October 2025.
We’ll be operating on:
HF (mostly 40m band)
2m FM repeaters around the Sydney area
VK DMR Talk Groups TG30–TG39
DMR Brandmeister JOTA global talkgroup 907 and JOTA tactical talkgroups 9071-9078
